		<description>That&#039;s a good question that I never cared about until you asked.  I&#039;m not sure that conservatism is inherently less funny - I think the type of conservatism you&#039;re referring to relies on ignorance for its survival.  It may be funny to watch (when it isn&#039;t being scary) but it&#039;s hard to be witty or clever when yer not, duh, witty - or clever.  

Conservatism and ignorance don&#039;t necessarily go hand in hand - conservative leaders just seem to be good at capitalizing on it.</description>
